You know, a few years ago people would have been going crazy for these shirts, but now people seem more interested in one-upping each other over whose bike looks most like something a hobbit would ride around Middle Earth. Pity. I'm sure the "no brakes" message will send some message-board granddads into fits of apoplexy too. More details on the shirts here.

Haha, no way Prolly, I was referring to how everyone seems to be lusting over Rivendell-style "practical" bikes theses days, with lots of emphasis on crap like panniers. Those bikes are really boring to me.

sooo...full circle? Does this mean we'll see more "Give Hipsters a Brake" styled t-shirts as well? looks like the reset timeframe for fixed gear culture is about 5 years. Can't wait for the next wave of "no brakes" shirts in 2014! Apoplectic enough?
