A bike made exclusively out of wood. No screws, no metal, no rubber, no plastic, no carbon. Also, they're going to try to set a speed record on it. What?!? Details here.
When I read an article about the bike on the Guardian a few days ago, I got the impression the speed record they were trying to set was "Fastest all-wooden bike", which would probably be them by default.
So not trying to break the sound barrier or anything, more like just roll down the street at anything above 1mph.
