Nitto Bullhorns
Just saw these over at Cyclope. They said they're Nitto, and they look like RB-021's with a rounded bar end, but I'm not sure. Anyone know for definite what make and model number these are?
[update] These are indeed from Nitto. They're the new RB-021 SLP, developed with EAI. Stainless-steel, capped, and high-polished. I like 'em a lot. Thanks for the info, Jordan!
[update 2] They may not be made by Nitto after all... Local expert casts aspersions on Nitto provenance. See comments for details.
[update 3] So, it has been confirmed by a source at Ben's Cycle in Milwaukee that these bars are definitely made by Nitto, specially for EAI. Ben's will have them in by the end of next week, so check here to get 'em.

Simon,
Those are a fairly new product from Nitto & EAI. They are Nitto RB-021 SLP. Stainless-steel, capped, and high-polished. This seems to be a growing part of Nitto / EAI's handlebar range.
I thought this might be something to do with EAI. Thanks for the info, Jordan
Yohei saw the straight bar and riser bar versions of these at Yojimbo's yesterday and seems to think that even though they are stamped Nitto, they really are not a Nitto manufactured product. He said first, they are not stamped "Made in Japan" so he thinks they may not even be made in Japan. Also he said that the president of Nitto would never make a product where the bends are stressed. The President of Nitto "only likes smooth curves." For whatever that is worth, Yohei's thoughts.
Hmm, that's really interesting. I wonder what the story with these things really is? Maybe Marcus would know... I still like them though, I might get a set for the street. Thanks for the info, Ben.
Okay, it's been confirmed by someone at Ben's Cycle in Milwaukee that these bars were made by Nitto specially for EAI. Mystery solved. Now I just need to get a set!
