Reminder!

Tuxedo Thunder

Damn, Chicago gets another new team! This one is called Tuxedo Thunder, and reminds me of Team Pegasus when we started out: a bunch of friends forming a team to have some fun. Best of luck to all involved. Details here.

The 2011 UCI Track Cycling World Championships was just on. A lot of Australians won races, not many Brits did, and some other people won races too. Sorry for the lack of coverage, but lets be honest, if you're actually interested in international track racing, you're not coming here for your news and photos.

We Are Fixed Gear Hipsters

Man, I love this. Is this new? It can't possibly be, can it? This is definitely from 2006, right? If not, then this is almost as anachronistic as those "hilarious" hipster traps that some wag laid in Williamsburg. Anyway, I think it's great that Hipster Nascar is listed as one of three links under this witty caricature, right alongside fixedgeargallery (they're still going?) and, ironically, bikesnobnyc. Check it out here.

Thanks to Sage Brown for the heads up!
