Guardian Bike Podcast

Chris Hoy launches The Guardian's new cycling podcast today. The first episode has Hoy talking about building up fitness, has a review of some road bikes, a piece about mountain biking in Scotland, and even the lads from Fixed Gear London talking about riding track bikes on the street. Listen to the first of these monthly podcasts here.

Sorry to bring some hate to the Hipster Nascar comments, but who still does audio podcasts? Video peoples! Great idea from The Guardian, but epic fail in execution. I'm NOT subscribing.

It's a little difficult to watch a video podcast while you're on a training ride, though.

Dear Huphtur,

I consume 3 to 6 hour of audio podcast daily via my android cell phone RSS reader. I listen to podcast:

1) In the morning getting ready for work.
2) On the drive to work.
3) At work.
4) On my drive home.
5) On my bike rides.
6) In bed almost every night - talk radio helps me shut of my busy mind.

Audio production takes a fraction of the time to record, edit, prep and upload compared to Video.

Epic fail on you positive outlook huphtur :(
