Outlier Dress Shirt

This dress shirt from Outlier sounds really great. It's called the Pivot Sleeve Shirt, and it's specially tailored to fit better while riding, which, as anyone who's ever worn a dress shirt while cycling will know, would be helpful. Here's the word from the folks themselves: "The basic challenge was straightforward, when you lean forward on a bike a buttondown shirt stresses. It pulls uncomfortably taut across the shoulders. The sleeves pull up exposing your wrists to the cold, and the tails pull out of your pants, leaving you either untucked or with a blooming blouse of a shirt. Our solution is the patent-pending Pivot Sleeve, a completely reconstructed buttondown that retains the traditional look and feel of a dress shirt while working equally well both on and off the a bicycle." Perfect for cyclists like me, who are eventually going to have a job that requires clothing slightly more formal than my current work outfit of cargo shorts and flip flops. What? I work at a beach, basically. More details on the Outlier Pivot Sleeve Shirt here.

Just in time for fashion week...

Outlier is releasing some new slacks- their workwear pants or the "anti-jean":

They look good- it's really great to see fashion and function incorporated together so well. I can't personally vouch for them, but they sure look the part. The price is on point or slightly below what you would expect for a high-end hand crafted pair of pants.

Outlier and Empire

Outlier have a new Merino t-shirt out, made in conjunction with the Empire crew.

The shirt: made of ultrafine New Zealand Merino wool, sewn in NYC, it will wick sweat and is anti-bacterial, so it won't smell like a cycling jersey after one wear.

Some ginger bloke with a beard rocking the shirt.

Check it, and the other stylish cycling clothing that Outlier make, here.

Outlier Experimental Drop

Outlier produce some really, really nice cycling clothing, and now they're giving people the chance to check out some of their future products months before they're released. They're calling it their experimental drop. "The experimental drop is a series of extremely limited production runs of the garments we expect to be producing full on a few months down the line.

These are garments that are deep into our development process, we are pretty damn sure they're amazing, but we still want to test a bit more before we can give them that Outlier "future classic" seal of approval." So, for the next four days Outlier will be releasing one garment a day, each of which was produced in a limited run of just 10 garments:

TODAY: their OG Pant in a new Workwear fabric.
WEDNESDAY: the Tech Hoodie in their Winterweight fabric.
THURSDAY: an experimental Dry Cotton version of their OG Pant.
FRIDAY: the Workwear version of their Tech Hoodie.

All of these extremely limited edition garments are available to buy on the Outlier page here.
