I just heard that a cyclist was killed in Chicago on Sunday morning. I didn't know the guy, and I don't have all the details, so I'll just say that I'm sorry for his family's loss. Please be careful out there people.
Please, if you value your sanity, do not read any of the comments posted on the Trib about Matt's death. They are sickening and depressing... I can't believe how callous and cruel people can be.
I feel so badly for everyone involved, for his wife and family, for the driver of the SUV, for the other riders who were at the scene and witnessed the accident, and for the TdC crew. My thoughts are with them all.
