Riding the Rails Photos

Looks like the Riding the Rails alleycat in NM went well. Racers had to race through some checkpoints in Albuquerque, catch a train to Santa Fe, race through checkpoints there, and then catch another train back to Albuquerque.

Desperate to get on the train.

Already on the train.

Well done to the organizers for putting on such an imaginative race. More photos and reports here.

I like those amazed looking kids in the background in the train

That's excellent. There have been rumors or half-plans for multi-city or multi-modal alleycats for a while... the picture of people running to the train is great, it looks like they're about to throw their bikes into an open boxcar.

A few us made the trip from Denver to Albuquerque for the race and it was great. Jeremy from Fixed and Free did a great job organizing the race.

Weird, I think I was actually in Santa Fe when this happened?
