Team Pegasus Trip to Chicago Velo Campus

Last weekend a bunch of us headed down to the soutside to get certified at the new track at the Chicago Velo Campus. Man, the track is a blast! Short and steep, you have to respect the turns and make sure you listen to track manager (and former British National squad sprinter) Peter. Like riding an old fashioned wooden rollercoaster, I can't wait to go back!

Global Gutz Chicago UPDATE

UPDATE - Global Gutz happens at the exact same time in various cities around the world. There was some initial confusion, but now the worldwide date and time is set, which, for Chicago, will be 6pm, Saturday June 11th. Race starts at Daley Plaza.

Track Season Begins!

Track season in Chicago begins this Thursday, May 19th, after being delayed for a week by the rain. Everyone should get themselves up to Northbrook to race or spectate. Illinois State Cyclocross Championships

Yesterday was the last race in the ChiCrossCup calendar, and it was also the Illinois State Championships. The temperature was well below freezing, the course was covered in snow and ice, there were more racers than at any other race this year, and it was a blast! Even though I fell on the ice so much that I can barely feel my legs this morning, it was definitely worth it. If you haven't raced cross then you're missing out.

Chicago Cranksgiving I

Here's the flyer for the first of two Cranksgiving races happening in Chicago this year. Cranksgiving is always a fun race, and the craziness that goes on in the grocery stores, as people race to buy food and check out faster than other racers, has to be seen to be believed. So RACE THIS! Sunday, November 21st, registration beings at 2.30pm at 500 W. Madison.
