Here's a picture of Mark Renshaw headbutting Julian Dean in the final sprint of today's stage of the Tour de France. Renshaw was disqualified from the stage and kicked out of the entire race for this:
Oh... wait... that's Robbie McEwen headbutting Stuart O'Grady in an earlier Tour de France! McEwen was disqualified from the stage for his headbutt, but was not kicked out of the Tour. Harsh on Renshaw?
Also, what is with these Antipodeans headbutting each other all the time? As Chopper Read might say, settle the fuck down!

after the zillionith time watching this It looks like Renshaw was reacting to the almost elbow in the chest!
Great this is the 3rd rider I have lost on my fantasy team. I think Im cursed this year!

Chopper would also say HTFU
I think they also took into consideration that her ran farrar nearly into the wall less than two seconds after the two unnessisary headbutts.
^What Brian said. It wasn't simply the headbutt (which, incidentally, is a word that sounds really weird if you read it a couple times in succession), it was the fact that he was completely and utterly irresponsible in swinging out like that during the middle of a TdF sprint finish.
If he had caught Farrar, or anyone else for that matter, the resulting casualties would have been immense. You hold your line when you pull off like that, and Renshaw knows it. To blatantly swing out in that manner, especially after headbutting the crap out of someone else, was irresponsible and dangerous, and I'm glad he got kicked out for it.
