A new Boston bike shop is having its grand opening party tonight, so if you're in town you should definitely swing by and check out Superb. Jason and Kip, who have been involved in running Cambridge Bicycle for over ten years, have been working on getting Superb running for over two years now, taking the Boston Bicycle shop and turning into a track/city-riding specific supershop. They decided to call the shop Superb in order to "to symbolize the level of service and quality of bikes and parts in the store." I talked to Jason about the shop a little while ago, and he told me that "Superb will carry a wide selection of fixed gear bikes, from basic to completely custom, as well as the wide selection of all the parts available today. We will also nurture the urban cyclists looking for a super functional urban bicycle, be it fenders, racks, internally geared hubs, etc. Superb will also carry a wide selction of cycling apparel from t-shirts to technical riding gear for city riding in all weather.
