I'm Back

Well, that was an eventful 10 days: I took and hopefully passed a French translation exam, ate at Kumas, watched some cyclocross, got some tattoo work done, hung out with friends, drank a fair amount, presented and successfully defended my dissertation research proposal, and then watched the man who gave the speech welcoming my class to graduate school at the University of Chicago in 2001 become the first Black President in the history of the United States. Pretty amazing. I'd give the entire trip a 7 out of 10. Thanks for letting me stay with you, Maggie!
