Building a Colnago EPS

Saw this video over at Laekhouse this morning. Pretty neat.

Who knew Fat Joe and Michael Mcdonald were the ones cranking out those $5k frames?

You may be listening, but you can't hear him. Available here.

Colnago USA

Colnago have decided to cut out the middle man, and are opening a direct distribution center in the USA for the first time ever. This should mean more shops carrying Colnago, at lower prices. Plus, guess where their warehouse and office will be? Chicago. That's correct. Check out the new website here.

Zabel's Colnago

Photo by Ben Atkins for BikeRadar.

Erik Zabel's one-off Colnago Extreme Power Super has to be the nicest bike in the Tour peleton this year. Full carbon lugged frame, with oversized but gracefully tapered tubes, brand new Dura Ace 7900 group and a beautiful retro paintjob. Plus, it has a level top-tube (sloping top-tubes being unbearably ugly in my opinion). This is a cutting-edge modern frame with the elegance and style of a vintage racer. Beautiful. As seen on BikeRadar.
