I have to admit, I'm not exactly delighted about the return of the backpack (El-P called from 1996, he wants his style back). But, this collaboration (shudder) between SAG and the MASH crew looks pretty nice, I suppose.
Backpacks are good for wearing for a longer time, and they're better for walking around.
Shoulder bags are better for getting into without taking off AND with the little winchey thanger that "messenger" bags have, they're better for biking with. Maybe.
But I aggree about the El-P comment. Whenever I rock a backpack, I let the straps all the way out and pair it with some cross colors jeans and a snapple.
Besides, tell me you haven't seen someone out there in the bar with a full-on waterproof chrome backpack trying to front like they are on the real. yeah y'all I am so cool that I don't care about coolness. I wear a backpack like a real messenger!
Whatever. Sorry to go off. The internet is filled with the endless loop of this discussion- it makes me want to go back to school and do some scholarly work on the subject. The whole reason I ended up here (like the rest of y'all) is because I was looking for SAG bags anyway!
