Illinois State Cyclocross Championion!!

My boy Henry Loud of Team Pegasus, in only his second 'cross race of the season, won the Illinois State Cyclocross Championship yesterday! Kid hates the cold, races on a borrowed bike, and wins. Qué chévere!

Sorry if I come off like an ass here, but Henry actually came in second. The kid who won did the entire series on one day licenses and therefore was not eligible to take home the jersey. Obviously a 2nd place finish in your 4th race ever is still a huge accomplishment and Henry rode a hell of a race. However Brandon, the kid who won the race, deserves some credit too since it was his first time on the podium, and he pulled off the win when it mattered most.

Max, not at all. Brandon is such a strong rider and deserves a lot of praise. It's just a pity he didn't get himself a license.

Anyway, we have a new team motto now:

Team Pegasus - While You Were Winning, We Won On a Technicality.

Fantastic use of the word 'Chévere.' I hope Henry reads this.
