The Bicycle Diaries

Bicycle taxis in Kampala, Uganda. Photo by Jessica.

I've been listening to a lot of the BBC World Service over the internet recently. It's a bit like an international NPR , and it's got some brilliant little programmes on it. The Bicycle Diaries is a series of theirs that I particularly enjoyed, about the different ways people around the world use their bikes. I recommend it.

Part 1, about the new bike rental scheme in Paris, France is here.
Part 2, about the importance of bikes to city dwellers in Kampala, Uganda is here.
Part 3, about how cycling helps the economy in New Delhi, India is here.
