Free Hipster Nascar Shirts!

As modelled above by the always awesome Kyle, we have three of these super limited (because we couldn't afford to get many made) Hipster Nascar shirts to give away to you lucky people. The shirts are a tribute to a band. The first three people to send me an email (address over there on the right) telling me the name of all of the singers that band has had over the the years will get a shirt. Make sure to include your size (s/m/l) and your address!

Changes

Big changes are afoot at Hipster Nascar. This blog is about to become a collaborative effort, and will soon be the ranting of not just one but two lunatics. You lucky people! Basically, I'm too busy getting coconut milk massages on the beaches of Fiji to do this thing by myself, so I've managed to con another work-dodger into joining the team. Between the two of us we might just be able to put a decent track-bike blog together...

Hey! It's 6am or something and I've been drinking all night, so I thought I'd say thanks to the poor misguided people at Blogger who made me Blogger's Blog of Note for March 3rd, 2009. I can't help but feel bad for all those non-cyclists and roadies who were thus tricked into reading this website. Please carry on with your lives as normal. There's nothing to see here. No really, that's not false depreciation, there's really nothing to see here. Oh, except for a ton of Chinese spam!

Hipster Nascar Cycling Caps Are Sold Out

Thanks to everyone who emailed me about the hats! I'm sorry that I didn't get more made, but I really wasn't sure how many people would want one. To everyone who bought one, I'll be sending them out soon. And thanks to Lyle and Kelly at Cognition Caps for making them!

Hipster Nascar Cycling Caps For Sale

So I finally got off my arse and managed to get some Hipster Nascar cycling caps made by the good folks at Cognition Caps. The caps are grey, with the logo embroidered on the side and the marking lines of a velodrome embroidered on the underside of the brim. This way, when you're in the pub after a race night at the track, you can use the brim of the hat to illustrate exactly where you were in turn 4 when you got boxed-in. It's great for making excuses.




And, if you buy a cap, you might get a few Hipster Nascar badges thrown in. Might being the operative word.


The caps are $28 each, with free postage to anywhere in the world. I only had 10 made, and I don't think I'll be having anymore made anytime soon, so these are limited edition. If you want one, email me (address is on the top right of the page) and I'll send you the PayPal details.

New Banner

Thanks to Katy for the new banner image, and the favicon, and the logo, which will be made into stickers in the near future. If they had a State Championship at design, you'd win that too!
